Thank you for visiting the Coastal Fisheries Laboratory web site. Our laboratory is a marine biological station of National Research Institute of Fisheres Science, located at the tip of the Arasaki peninsula, Pacific coast of central Japan. A critical part of our mission is the study of shallow water ecosystem, ecophysiology and ecology of coastal organisms. We support the development of resources and technology that will accelerate fisheries research and its application to stock enhancement and management of coastal biological resources.
